Probably one of the most buzzed-about bands to emerge from Australia in the past decade, indie/alternative rockers Monks of Mellonwah have garnered both critical and commercial acclaim. Last year, they even embarked on their first US outing last year, backing like-minded musicians like Sevendust and Scott Stapp (who is still a thing?). Unlike their musical predecessors, however, MoM incorporate elements of R&B, pop, and funk to create a danceable, accessible blend that’s uniquely theirs.

Need proof? Check out the band’s latest single, “Never Been Good.” In fact, blast it at your next party and enlighten all of your friends before MoM is blowing up the Top 40 radio stations coast to coast. And keep an eye out for the band’s full-length album later this year.
