"Love and Anger" is one of my favs and even "Deeper Understanding" has many things that I'm quite fond of. However, her last album had me wondering if my love affair with Kate was confined to the mid to late '80s. This has inspired me to give the Sensual World another listen. I've been into Kate for about 12 years, and even though "This Woman's Work" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, I'm not as enthusiastic about this album from a production standpoint as I am The Dreaming and Hounds of Love. That being said, It's been several years since I've given The Sensual World a serious listen, and it's loved by fans and critics alike (many say it's her best), so I'm going to give it another spin.
