Apparently, the E! network is airing some reality series called Love Is in the Heir about an Iranian princess who wants to be a country music star or something like that. Fred tells me that in an upcoming episode, she does a showcase for some record label execs, and performs one of his songs. He was there, and he said it was so unbearably awful that he turned beet red, started sweating, and wanted to crawl under the table. The show’s producers interviewed him on-camera after the performance; I guess it was quite a struggle to answer their questions without saying anything offensive.

So watch it. You can see my pal Fred, and hear one of his songs mangled. Yeehaw!

He’s also written a song called something like “I Believe in Christmas”–he couldn’t remember–that is being performed on One Life To Live next week. Ha!
