My crystal ball has been foggy lately, but it's starting to look very much like a filibuster finale to the year, the death panels roll again during the recess, and when everyone comes back to session, all that will remain of the health care bill is to decide who yanks the flag off the coffin when it's dumped into the sea.

Joe Libs strikes again. There's too much interest to the status quo, and I truly think that is fueling the dog & pony show we are seeing. Public option is dead! Public option is alive! JoeLibs demands it dies or else! And what of the penalties for those among us who do not get insured, primarily because they still can't afford it because there's no public option to kick the price gougers in the ass? They can't afford insurance. How can they afford the penalty fee?

As far as I'm concerned, those who are pro-public option would rather see the bill dead otherwise. Those who are anti-public option would just as equally have the bill die. When Joe Lieberman was fighting cancer, he had the best health care anywhere coming from his political perks. It's a privilege to him that he chooses to never be a right for others. The poor are dead to him politically, so maybe they should die physically too, just to drive down overpopulation.

Republicans, Democrats, right now I'm disgusted by all of them. The only positive in the news this week is that Lou Dobbs quit.

Health care reform cannot be passed.
