They we both kind of forgot about it with the avalanche of CDs, Minidiscs & mp3s. It is FANTASTIC to hear it again... and to be able to bang it on the ol' iPhones / iPods. What a truly awesome album... sounds so fresh and new... and yet so familiar. So yeah... thank you... thank you... thank you!

Thomas aka Headphonaught

My wife and I were huge fans of “Abort” back in the day… before we were married… had kids etc. Loved the album… we both had copies on cassette… and played it regularly. Now I can hear the rest of their music, thank you!

I never heard of Tribe before Rock Band was released (and am old enough to HAVE heard of them), but Outside was my flat out FAVORITE song from the whole songlist. Maybe someday! The Giant Panther blog was kind enough to forward me this, though!

http://thegiantpanther.blogspot.com/2009/02/my-...

Thanks, Jonathan, for the heads up on The Rings…I actually downloaded this recently, only to discover that it can only be opened via bittorrent, which I don't have. They were my favorite band from Boston, and I must have seen them several dozen times. I actually have the original CD, referred to in several previous comments, called "Here At The Home", which was on Rutabaga label. It had 10 songs, most of which ended up on Abort, with slightly different versions. Now if we could only get someone to post "The Rings"/"The Rings" and "Country Funk"/ "Country Funk", that hat trick would make my decade!

Finally, someone who remembers the glory of TRIBE.
