Update from the club itself: The gig was Wednesday, November 12th, 1997, opening for Lettuce.

Ironically, I was not hip to Lettuce at the time--they were a youthful group that bugged me a lot for ink in a particular entertainment tab for which I was writing. I wasn't taking them too seriously. So we bagged out after Big Ass Truck and drove home. Since then, Lettuce's members have gone to to bigger and better things (such as Soulive) and reformed last year to great results...In fact, I put their record "Rage" in the top 10 of 2008 at Bullz-Eye

I always liked these guys, they used to play live around here. But I haven't thought of them in years. Since '01, eh? Man, time flies . . .
