Album cover - They Killed Us

This is one of those happier incidents where a band breaks up and comes back stronger than before.  The short story is Will Currie and The Country French called it a day in 2012; earlier this year, Will Currie was asked to write a song for a cartoon show called “Cyanide and Happiness” – he wound up writing a song cycle which became the band’s new upcoming album, They Killed Us, which is due for release on June 9th.  This first track, “No, Nothing” is something I liken to “Brian Wilson meets Rufus Wainwright”…
