But even the ones I'm not in love with now...kick the crap out of the stuff on the pop charts then...and now. That in my mind is the hallmark of a great album, whether it's my personal favorite or not. For me, it is the most listenable and enjoyable Pixies record. For those not used to the Pixies ethic, it is piercingly irritating, which I also love.
