Hailing from Minneapolis, MN, Magnetic Ghost began as a side-project imprint for musician Andrew Larson. Their niche encompasses shoegaze, post-punk, kraut rock, and more to create a new sound that Larson’s dubbed “rural psychedelia.” For fans of bands like Sonic Youth, Low, and Talk Talk, Magnetic Ghost will be a breath of fresh air — more of what you love, reimagined in newer, freakier ways.

Magnetic Ghost’s new EP, Loss Molecules, pushes the envelope even further. Hear a musical snapshot in “Landfill,” premiering here on Popdose!
