Memphis’ favorite new sons, VAS, are back, fresh on the heels of their self-titled debut album with this brand new single, “Rivers”.  As is the VAS way, it’s textured, melodic, atmospheric and quite powerful.  It’s also, simply, a great track.  Rich and layered with a hypnotically subtle guitar figure, measured drumming and bold choruses, this just may be their best offering in their young career.  As lead singer Andrew Elder puts forth, “I can’t wake up to another shimmering tree without giving my thanks” – heavy but meaningful.

Give this a listen and then listen again.  Guaranteed to stay in your head for days afterwards.
