Delightful review, and spot on - except for the agave nectar bit. Okay, okay, I live in San Francisco and am spoiled, but I don't even have to go to Trader Joe's to get the stuff - I can just go by my local Peruvian/Mexican market.

I agree, though, that this is not a tequila that requires fussy recipes, or even a mixer, to make it palatable. As someone who is indeed sufficiently heedless of my femininity to drink straight tequila, however pink it might be, I find that Rosangel makes for a remarkably smooth shot - sipped, not slammed.

Dammit, now I want to watch The Long Good Friday (Pierce Brosnan smooching another guy in the shower, plus starring roles for Helen Mirren and Bob Hoskins? Yar). And then get into a bar fight so I can club my opponent with the Rosangel bottle. Except this isn't really fighting tequila.

Strawberries are barely still in season here...

Good stuff for shots. Very smooth. Got mine for $18 from a friend who owns a mexican bar and grill.
