		<description>*groans* I remember seeing Leona Naess back in the early 00s when whatever single she had on MTV2 was big and she was dating Ryan Adams. I don&#039;t know if she was drunk or high, but something was way off about her. The performance seemed like a big joke to her, to the point where she screwed up a song and had to start over again. I&#039;m pretty sure I had the same reaction as the bassist at the show you attended.</description>

		<description>Fall 1986 flashback: I attended the reopening-night performance of Bill Cosby at the Chicago Theater, when it was smashingly restored to its former glory. Prior to that it was a semi-safe moviehouse in prime grindhouse territory, where management kept the lights on halfway just in case gang wars erupted. I think the last movie I saw there was 1985&#039;s Brewster&#039;s Millions, after which it closed for a year for its facelift.</description>
