All pretty obvious numbers, chosen so as to be recognisable to supermarket CD section customers and idiot DJs who know their soul music only through the effronteries of Michael F. He has the chops.

That was a great YouTube clip. Definitely the Faces should drop Rod like the cold potato he is and get Mick Hucknall. Otherwise, I can't imagine that the Quireboys' Spike couldn't be convinced to leave that band's own, ahem, comeback (yes - look it up).

If he weren't so busy with his own band, Chris Robinson could fill in for the North American leg of the tour. I usually don't like it when bands reunite without a main player, but in this case I think they did just fine without Rod. I really didn't know what to expect from Mick Hucknall, but it sounds like he did a great job. The last I heard, they hadn't determined a permanent singer as they go forward, but Mick and others might be included.

What's really sad is that this album is the reason that Rod was too busy to be a part of the Faces reunion.
