Robert Cass, who writes the Sugar Water and Bootleg City columns for Popdose, was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998. After working at CNN and CartoonNetwork.com in Atlanta, he moved to Chicago in 2003, where he’s worked as a copy editor at the Chicago Reader and performed improv and sketch comedy. Robert also writes about pop-culture minutiae and his 8,539 pet peeves at Mulberry Panda 96, and works behind the scenes at Popdose as a Senior Editor.
