Neither did David Byrne last week (three encores?!) but it was alright. He encored with stuff the audience was dying to hear.

As for the Smashing Zwankins, I'm still on the fence.

On some level I don't mind, but then there were times when I was seriously rolling my eyes. One thing I wanted to mention that I forgot to (because I wrote this at 2am) is that he clearly hasn't grasped the concept of “leave them wanting more.”

I'd appreciate Corgan so much more if he would back off of being such a tool. He's got chops, for sure. But the center of every universe is the densest think imaginable and at the center of his ego's universe, there's none more dense.
