Great album from start to finish! My two favorites are “Prayer” and “Incredible”. I still see copies of this in the bargain bin for $1.99!!!! They should have been huge.

I love the Dramarama this song comes off of! There is a song called “Shadowless Heart” that is stellar. Oh, and there's another track called “Senseless Fun” that still gets regular airplay in my office.

Oh, I don't know–I've always been pretty sure it's the latter, that the “man in the silk suit” is having a good time telling the ladies in the welfare line to “get a job.” It's the first of many signs in the song of the “easy racism” of the deep South.

On a tangent.... is Bruce Hornsby saying:

"Just for fun," he says, "Get a job."
-or-
Just for fun he says, "Get a job."

Everyone I know thinks the latter, but I see nothing wrong with the former.
