John Hughes had nothing to do with this movie, right? But since it's set in Chicago and its suburbs and involves teenagers, you'd think he'd be involved somehow. Chris Columbus directed the first two “Home Alone” movies and “Only the Lonely,” which Hughes wrote and/or produced, after “Adventures in Babysitting,” so maybe Hughes saw “AIB” and thought, “This guy's treading on my turf! I must keep my enemies close.” So they joined forces.

Fab choice!!!! I haven't seen this movie in years. I think I am going to add it to my list of buys the next time I am in the States. I am sure I can find it in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart. Keep the old ones coming.

I think we rented this movie every Saturday night when my kids were growing up. Of course, they liked it for the adventures. I loved it for the music. Thanks for writing this up.
