Sort of like what Scorsese does with pop music in his films. I remember seeing a clip from “Christine” when I was little in which Christine was crushing someone sitting in the front seat while “Bony Moronie” was playing. The song stuck with me because of that.

Something very strange is going on with that Bonnie Riatt mp3, at least in play mode. It seems to be a, um, MEDLEY. An inadvertent one, I think. Starting at around the 2:30 mark.
