The very best parts were the fantastic sound effects and the lovely lighting used for the actual storm. For example it made me think of the way frozen water plinking onto window panes sounds completely different than when it does it on car windows. I thought it was incredible. And the lighting of the storm.. the blacks and whites, the silvers, the shininess. I remember reading that they sprayed the outside shots with a special clear gel to simulate ice accumulation.
