A gentle giant. A megawatt smile. A deep brooding voice that would scare the hell out of you at “hello.” Stephen King gave us John Coffey in his late-period masterpiece The Green Mile, but Duncan (through Frank Darabont’s adaptation and direction) made him live. Some events just are inexplicable and not at all fair. This is one of them.
