Thanks for reading it (and not just trying to sell me "Renaissance 600 Thread-Count Solid Queen Sheet Set, White," as seen in the Trackbacks section below).

I don't know if Bay can be called a great auteur, but he does have his worldview. I just wish he wasn't such a schmuck when it came to the racial stereotypes.

That New York post cartoon is mind-blowing. It's not racial humor, which can be funny if it cuts both ways. It's just straight-out racist, simple and plain.

Damn impressive to go from Mookie to our newest Supreme Court nominee. Great job. Thorough, provocative, and considerate.
I never would have made the Michael Bay connection–thanks for ruining any potential fun I may have had while watching “Transformers 3.” Just like DW Griffith, another great film auteur lost because of his racism.
Not so happy to see that cartoon republished, but it probably deserves to be unearthed and shown for what it is.
