Ted Asregadoo

Ted has a last name people have a hard time pronouncing, and spends an inordinate amount of time on the phone spelling his last name for customer service reps. For years, Ted worked in the radio industry rising to the level of his own incompetence as an afternoon host and public affairs director. Prior to his life in radio, Ted was a college professor who taught courses in political science, history, film, and American studies. If that sounds like a Á¢€Å“Jack of all trades, master of none,Á¢€ youÁ¢€â„¢ve hit the nail on the head. TedÁ¢€â„¢s connection to Popdose comes through his fortunate association with Jeff Giles. Jeff was the only A student in TedÁ¢€â„¢s American politics class in 2002, and the only one who stuck around after class to ask follow up question. It was through long conversations about politics that Jeff found out about TedÁ¢€â„¢s passion for musicÁ¢€”and the rock group Rush in particular. And it was through long conversations with Jeff that Ted became perplexed by JeffÁ¢€â„¢s obsession with the mellower sounds of the Á¢€Ëœ70s. Ted lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Julie, daughter Maya, and dog Genevieve (and yes, Genevieve was named after the dog in the Madeline books).
