I was just thinking this morning about "Days Between" and how, in the last decade or so of Garcia's life, he and Hunter had written some quite beautiful songs ("Touch of Grey," "Black Muddy River," "Built to Last," etc.) around the topic of aging. "Days Between" might have been the most beautiful of them all, but the only "official" recording I'm aware of was on that box set, and even that take was a little rough.
