The Elder remains one of my favourite Kiss albums. Very underrated on my opinion. The press killed it and fans believed the press rather than buying the album and making their own conclusion.

Yeesh. If anything could have hurt Kiss more than most of the material on the album, it definitely was that commercial. I can picture the Camaro-driving rock hounds ripping their Kiss Army patches off their jean jackets after seeing it.
