Not the stark Dave Alvin version, the laid back back Robert Earl Keen Version, or the best one, the version by X after Dave Alvin left but they went ahead and recorded the song anyway because it kicked so much ass? The version by X is on 1987's "See How We Are" which is otherwise only an okay record. Seriously? No version of Dave Alvin's “4th of July”?
