Dude! Is the D & D song one of the new ones I couldn't wrestle out of you a couple weeks ago?

Oh. Wait. It says right there "1987."

Still, I want to hear the new stuff! That would be bootlegging if you posted it, you know!

Why people gotta be all singin' and shit over the Trevor Rabin track?
  • And for that matter, why does Trev gotta be working on crap Bruckheimer flicks instead of maybe, maybe, giving us a couple more tunes?
  • Speaking of live Marvin Gaye, if you've been watching the Olympics, you might have seen that Nike commercial that features him singing the national anthem live. Damn that's amazing.

I'm guessing that's the same performance that was the first video ever shown on VH-1. (That's one of my favorite trivia questions, btw. You always hear about the Buggles being first on MTV, but you rarely hear who was first on VH-1.)
  • Holy crap ! A bootleg mixtape column. I'm loving it !

Not that I have ever in my life listened to a bootleg concert.

    *nervous grin*

Just a note for those who were intrigued by the popdose Juliana Hatfield guide, according to her website, Juliana is scheduled to appear on Jay Leno tomorrow night, Aug. 25. That is all. I'm hoping she'll play Law of Nature. I'm really loving that song. It's fabulous.
  • In some cultures "Smart Girls" would be seen as a cry for help. Or a suicide note.
