That live "Two Tickets" is FANTASTIC. How long ago was this recorded? He is in fine voice, and that band is really tight. Now I wanna see him live. Then I read an interview with him and found out it's really a song about surprising your sweetie with vacation airline tickets. Gotta love it. I had to come back after listening to these cuts. My buddy and I were maybe the equivalent of four or five rows back (it was general admission). He put on a terrific, no-bullshit rock and roll show, from "Two Tickets" and "Baby Hold On" to "Shakin'" and "Where's the Party" to "We Should Be Sleepin'" and the other stuff from the Can't Hold Back album, which was still charting pretty high at that point. Great show.<br><br>His new keyboard player, incidentally, is Chris Grove, late of Survivor, who's a terrific musician and, if memory serves, the guy who threatened Jefito when he posted tracks from the last Survivor record a couple years back.
