Hi all. I’m guest-posting for Jeff today. When I was probably about 13 or so, my Uncle Mark made a series of mixtapes for my family that I’ve tried to reconstruct here. He was a big fan of Irish music, so it seemed appropriate to post this as close to St. Patrick’s Day as possible.

Richard Thompson - I Feel So Good from Rumor and Sigh
Shriekback - Nemesis from Oil & Gold
The Replacements - Talent Show from Don’t Tell a Soul

Soul Asylum - Runaway Train from Grave Dancers Union
Buffalo Tom - Taillights Fade from Let Me Come Over
John Wesley Harding - Ordinary Weekend from Why We Fight
The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale of New York from If I Should Fall from Grace with God
