Like most metal bands, it seems, they drop members from one band like skin cells and wind up picking them up into the other (that and Jon Oliva's Pain becomes yet another depository.) And maybe because I'm getting even more jaded than I already was (can it be?) I've had great difficulty listening to the TSO albums the last couple years. I need something a little softer now, something I can gum to pieces, swallow down without too much shpilkes in my gassinchus. Mostly kinda sorta Savatage.
