I was lucky enough to be at the 9/21/1984 show. Sort of by accident actualy.We where visiting Toronto from New Jersey and a few off us decided to go tthe Toronto Maple Leafs arena bar (Yes Pete, if you are out there I did stel your Moson bottle opener). One friend was so drunk we deicded to move to the othe side of the bar. He started talking to a guy and long story short the guy was the head of the lighting crew. We had already bought two tix but he said he would take us in. After we could hear Red Ryder was finishing up away we went. He tooks us in a side door right behind the stage and took us up to the front row. Man, what a show it was. I still look for myself and my other buddy in the video that Finally came out!

To see Rush again brings me back to the first Rush show I saw at the Bayfront Center In St. Pete Fl. It was the Moving Pictures Tour and a then 14 year oldwide eyed kid would never be the same. My best friend Jon and I went to the show driven by my Mom. It was the best and now the only band I will see. Jon and I almost 30 years later still go to the show together with a few more friends. My Mom is gone now but I will never forget the first show of the best band ever. Thanks Mom. I miss you.

That's actually not the first time I've heard of that. At least you had cool throw pillows, right? As long as your Mom doesn't give a guided tour of the pillows to your friends, telling them how much David used to love his concert t-shirts, “they made him so happy.” etc. etc. etc.

Saw that same bill in Oklahoma City; still have both concert t-shirts (Rush & T. Shaw).

After they got too worn, my mom made them into throw pillows for me.

I was six rows from the stage for their March 4, 1988 date at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena. Tommy Shaw was the opening act. My most vivid memory is the guy next to me SCREAMING for “YYZ” after every song. God I hate drum solos.

I've seen them play every song from Moving Pictures live except for The Camera Eye…and that just might be enough to make me pay to see them again. God, I love that song. Fuck Rush for manipulating me like that.
