Not a bad actress when she made the effort way back when although most would say her part in "The People Vs. Larry Flynt" wasn't much of a stretch.<br><br>Saw Hole play at the Troc in Philly shortly after Live Through This came out. A bit of a carnival atmosphere. Drew Barrymore stood in the wings holding Frances Bean. I think she was dating Eric (the name escapes me) at the time. Still, the music was pretty solid from what I remember. After a while though, Courtney did the bodysurfing into the crowd thing. Reemerged topless. She had this faux annoyance and didn't seem terribly surprised. A bit of an anticlimactic finale from what I recall. Good column. Not a bad actress when she made the effort way back when although most would say her part in “The People Vs.
