Uncle Donnie has a thing for faking death -- I can't help that.

Yes, Bangs and Lou had quite the relationship -- adversarial but tender, in a mid-70s, Times Square S&M club sorta way. It's rumored that Lou wrote "The Last Great American Whale" for Lester.

They say he didn't have an enemy
His was a greatness to behold
He was the last surviving progeny
The last one on this side of the world

I say he wrote it for Fudgy the Chocolate Whale, which Tom Carvel hawked until his dying day.

Chuckled when I saw the Kurt Loder reference and knew it was only a matter of time before Lester Bangs garnered a cameo nod. In this instance, I don't mind the Fake Your Death advice. Really, Lou has kinda been among the Living Dead for a quite a while.
