The brain melts.

Pizza Power genuinely sounds like an advertising jingle. Imagine if you had a whole concert just of jingles. Funny thing, on the jukebox tag they were only identified as The Turtles, but I put two and two together and surmised I wouldn't get an earful of Flo OR Eddie if I punched it up.

Now I want pizza. Way to subliminalize, Redman.

There was also a companion 45 with “Count on Us” (I forget the flipside) that wound up on the jukebox at the Pizza Hut (RIP) in Rosenberg, TX…and I'm guessing every PH jukebox in the land. I'm a sucker for bad Bon Jovi knock-offs. Honestly, though, I don't think this sounds much worse than a lot of mainstream rock coming out in '89-'90--take that how you will.

I absolutely love this album, I wore out the cassette as a five year old and currently own a working copy of the album on cassette and a vhs copy of the radio city music hall show.
