I believe I’ve mentioned him here before, but just in case you’ve forgotten (or haven’t checked out his music yet), my good friend and all-time favorite songwriter, Fred Wilhelm, performed last night on WXFL’s “Muscle Shoals to Music Row” series with fellow Nashville writers Walt Aldridge and Brice Long.

Watch the show here.

Fred has written songs for Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, and others, but if you ask me, he’s at his best when he writes for himself. To wit:

Bring Me Some Water
Stop Tickin’
Experience (live)
Far & Wide

Check out Fred’s album, amidlife, on CD Baby and iTunes. (Full disclosure note: amidlife was released by my very own Grab Bag Records, which you can take to mean I’m trying to shake you down and line my own pockets…or take as further proof of just how much I love Fred’s music.)
