Comrades Big OneWelcome to ”Comrades,” a weekly podcast devoted to the FX series, The Americans. Each week, Scott Malchus and Jeff Marsick will discuss the latest episode of The Americans, the cloak and dagger drama starring Keri Russell (Felicity) and Matthew Rhys (Brothers and Sisters) as KGB agents posing as an American suburban married couple. Of course, if you’re reading this you probably already know that, as the show is entering its 2nd season!

Our first episode takes a look back at The Americans first season (now on Blu-ray), previews the upcoming season (which premieres on February 26th) and features the usual tangents that Scott goes off on, such as the great use of Pete Townshend’s ”Rough Boys” and how film editors accomplish the timing of image to music.

The show is produced by Southgate Media Group, who is thrilled to be sharing the podcast with Popdose readers. There are three options for listening to the show: you can listen here; you can head on over to this Southgate Media link,  or you can subscribe to it on iTunes .

We also have a Facebook page where you can interact with Jeff and Scott, or you can leave comments below.

Thanks for tuning in and be sure to check back each week for the most recent episode of  ”Comrades.”
