These five songs are a good introduction to Patrick Breen, a New York City-based singer-songwriter who’s been making the rounds for a few years.  More Than Magic is his recorded debut and his sound is a mix of smooth and laid-back; tuneful and embracing.

“Easy Feeling” gives you a good indication of how refined his sound and his voice is; some very tasteful guitar and a fine production brings the listener into the vibe; “Winds Of Change” has a soulful feel with its horn punches, Hammond organ and backing vocals and “Too Late” is acoustic driven – both by piano and guitar.

All in all, a very satisfying listening experience.  Relaxing, skilled and some very refined songwriting.  Looking forward to hear what Patrick Breen does next.
