This week our guest is Mark Mulcahy.
Mark joins us to talk about the vinyl reissue of the Portrait Of A Damaged Family album by Miracle Legion, which is being released this weekend on Record Store Day.
The album has been freshly remastered and features one previously unreleased bonus track. Check out a recent review of the album written by my Popdose comrade Ted Asregadoo, who writes, “One listen to the record and you’ll hear a band who aren’t lost anymore.”
The Miracle Legion catalog will be available digitally on Monday, April 18 and the band will play a series of reunion shows in July and August.
We talk with Mark about the Portrait reissue as well as the proposed touring plans for Miracle Legion. He also had some great stories to share about his experience making music with Polaris for the Nickelodeon series The Adventures of Pete and Pete, plus he shares his memories of recording with Miracle Legion at Prince’s Paisley Park.
Visit the Mezzotint website for lots of information regarding Miracle Legion, Polaris and the music of Mark Mulcahy.
