Hailing from Arizona, singer/songwriter Ben Anderson has released his second EP, titled Where The Lights Go?, and presents the lead single from the effort, “Perfect,” as a Popdose video exclusive.

The song is a co-production between Anderson and Olivier Zahm, and slips between sparse and lush. Anderson works the duality well, but music was not in his initial plan. According to his bio, even though he first picked up the guitar at age 14, Anderson graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. (Don’t worry. We had to Google it too. It means: the scientific study of human or non-human body movement. Kinesiology addresses physiological, biomechanical, and psychological mechanisms of movement.) Anderson has a background with playing in jazz bands and rock groups throughout his late teens/early 20’s.
