I’m hoping some other folks do the heavy lifting for me today and rhapsodize further
on the skills and talents of Enuff Znuff. Briefly, I’m an unabashed fan and revisit “Strength” and “Animals with Human Intelligence” quite often. “Peach Fuzz” and “Seven” are also recommended. They are also cult faves among power pop enthusiasts.

(Wanders into room, scans inhabitants, nods at Enuff Znuff, fails to recognize anyone else, smiles weakly, backs slowly out of room.)

LOL, no surprise that I dig this week’s offerings even more than last. And unlike the last two commentators, Enuff Z’nuff is likely the artist I’m least familiar with here! I think this week’s list is the best yet in showing how diverse 90s music could be, so bravo! It also demonstrates how much hip hop, R&B and freestyle music changed over the decade. And though I doubt you do, if you want to hear more of Laura’s work, her albums are on my blog. ;)

That bit about the shark suit “hold my sign” still cracks me up all these years later.

Great to see how well En Vogue did in the ’90′s. There are very few songs of theirs that I don’t like. I did go through a period in the late ’90′s and 00′s where I cringed everytime I heard Enigma (or similar acts like Deep Forest or hell, even, Enya) after really loving their/his first couple of albums, but as I get older, I seem to go back to liking them again. And Nasty G, can’t say I want to hear more of Laura’s work as the song sounds identical to Lisette Melendez!

I’m always interested in hearing stuff I haven’t before – so I’ll check them out soon! (And yes, these last few weeks have been nice for you at least).
