I’m still a little disappointed that it isn’t a concept album of duets with Shirley MacLaine, but whatever — Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard is stepping out as a solo artist with Former Lives on October 16, and he’s been kind enough to give everyone a free sneak preview with “Teardrop Windows.” You can pre-order the record in one of several deluxe configurations at Gibbard’s site, or just check out the song below:
