If you like your heartbreak songs acoustically flavored with a early 2000s backbeat, My Silent Bravery’s “Face to Face” is your new favorite song. Singer/songwriter Matt Wade sings of regret, frustration, sadness — you know, everything that goes into losing the one you love. We’ve all been there, but Wade’s take on heartache is particularly relatable.

With a sound reminiscent of Train and Gavin DeGraw, and guitar melodies hearkening back to Michelle Branch and Jason Mraz, My Silent Bravery stand accessible and radio-ready. It’s just the hint of indie specialty that makes them stand out from the pack.

In their new video for “Face to Face” Wade seemingly confronts his lost love. “Seemingly” because he haunts her like a ghost, and she doesn’t even look his way. Is it all in his mind? Is he dreaming of a reconciliation that will never come? The combination of moving visuals and heart-wrenching music will touch any listener’s soft side.
