Wow, I didn't realize that 'Guitar Man' was an old Bread tune… until now, I only knew CAKE's version, which is quite similar except: 1) I like Bread's use of the noodle-y guitar effect, and 2) CAKE's version doesn't sound like like it ready to bust into “Baby I'm a Want You” at the end like this one does.

How is is that a great song like the Sweet/Buckingham version of “Magnet and Steel” is only available on something like the “Sabrina..” soundtrack? You can't even buy the track separately on iTunes. I had to order the soundtrack CD used. Luckily, it wasn't a lot of money (for obvious reasons).

I just looked at the track listing for that. Is it as horrible as it seems it would be?

  • Elaine

Is it just me or are “It Don't Come Easy” and “Let It Rain” nearly the same song?

It's not just you! I've been saying it for YEARS!

ROACHES!!!! As soon as I read the title Timex Social Club's Rumors popped into my head. When I was about 10 Roaches was my Jam.

Great mix, dw. I've always wondered why that Jellyfish song never saw release. It's terrific.

It's pretty bad, but you also have Ben Folds Five and Phantom Planet so it's not a total loss.

They gave Melissa Joan Hart a song, but thankfully, Salem the talking cat doesn't sing.

Wow, I never knew that Egan cover even existed. I love that song. Thanks, Jefito.
