I hope Kip Winger grew up to have daughters.

    Daniel Lanois is not working.

The server showed that as a full 9-MB file yesterday…which is what I get for trusting the server. It's been re-uploaded now.

I have the video of Simon and Harrison doing their excellent performance of Homeward Bound. It was part of a recent tribute to Simon on PBS, so I was able to get a digital recording. However, they also played Here Comes The Sun. The audio recording I have of that song is poor. I guess I will have to check out the SNL season two boxset to glory in that event again.

Right now the server is laughing at you and coughing “sucker!” into its fist. And I hate to say it, but I have to agree. Nice one, server.

Do we really need another dude in a mullet sitting on a porch with a shotgun in his lap?

  • David_E

A shotgun to the lap might've cured our boy from chasing jailbait in his late 20's.

Really enjoy this joint blog…read each of your own blogs at one time. Thank you for the Larry Adler – Clare de Lune

Ah, a fellow Adler fan! Nice to meet you!

Great mix this week. Love Lanois, Harrison & Simon, and thanks especially for the Howard Shore. I love his work on the Big soundtrack.

“Nobody's Fool” is my favorite movie ever.

Really? Interesting. I'll have to see it again.

Finally – a mix that contains Zapp & Roger, Winger AND Godspeed, You Black Emperor!

    *head spins*

    Kudos.

    “Duo Glide” is freakishly good.

I have always really liked that Rock & Soul Revue record. I know people pan it, but I think it's great. “Drowning..” became a favorite for me the very first time I heard it on this album.
