The Weekly Mixtape: 3/25/11

It’s funny how, as I get older, I’m losing track of time the way everyone said I would. I didn’t believe it, but here I am dropping the ball as often as I juggle the others. If you do not recognize a particular theme with this mixtape, that’s not your fault because there is none.

There was supposed to be one and, ironically, that theme was “time.” That mix will show up eventually and will feature famous tracks by Pink Floyd, Joe Walsh, The Alan Parsons Project, Bonnie Raitt, and many more. I just need enough time to get it together.

In the meantime, here I am trying to re-integrate that dropped ball into the act. Did I do good or not? Feel free to let me know. In the meantime, listen up and enjoy.

The Fixx’s Read Between the Lines? I cannot think of a reason to choose that one, it’s probably the weakest track from an album almost no one’s heard. Does anyone else think Faron Young sounds like prime Squeeze?
