I’ve made a pact with myself to do a better job of keeping up with new music — and more specifically, new artists — this year and I think I’m doing pretty well.

For this week’s mixtape, I’m going to share with you my favorite songs from some of my favorite albums released — or very-soon-to-be-released — in 2011, so far. If there’s already this much great music out in the first 2 1/2 months of the year, making a year-end list is going to be a massive chore.

Enjoy and I hope you’ll check these albums out!
