Melvin James – The Passenger (1987)
purchase this album (Amazon)

Okay, so here’s something a little different: Today’s edition of Cutouts Gone Wild! was inspired by a request from our buddy David, and I aim to please, so here’s Melvin James’ The Passenger. I’ve listened to it a few times, and I think it Á¢€” well, I’ll save that for the comments section, actually. Because it turns out that I don’t know the first thing about Melvin James, and there doesn’t seem to be much of anything at all about him on the Web, so when it comes to writing about Melvin, I’m sort of at a total fucking loss.

So this is what we’re gonna do. I’m going to give you the album Á¢€” the whole thing Á¢€” and then we’re gonna talk about it. Hopefully David, our resident Melvin James expert, will show up at some point and kick some k-nowledge.

Get your Melvin on!
