Norah Jones, "Little Broken Hearts"

Oh, Norah. You saucy little minx, with your cashmere voice and dinner-plate eyes that peer out at me from the cover of your upcoming album, Little Broken Hearts, which was inspired by your recent breakup and produced by Danger Mouse. You’re hard at work promoting your new music, Norah, but who will mend your broken heart? It’s time to think about you, isn’t it?

So, uh…where were we? Oh, right — new Norah Jones single. “Travelin’ On” is a little more ballad-y (as in: more typically Norah Jonesy) than the last one, but it still does a fine job of bridging the gap between her tasteful, gazillion-selling debut and her more adventurous recent records.
