via press release:
The video features figurines made out of bones, shells and other found objects by British Columbian artist Stephan Bircher, brought to life with rusty machine parts in his studio. Stephan modeled some of his newest pieces on the members of the Barr Brothers; their skeletal counterparts serenade a delicately swaying audience. NPR Music compares Bircher’s artwork to that of Tim Burton and Guillermo del Toro.
The band will bring their nuanced folk, African-laced rhythms and blistering blues on their first major tour this fall, which includes shows with The Low Anthem, Timbre Timbre and Little Scream.
