Nicole Holofcener has become one of the premiere voices in American cinema. Walking and Talking, Lovely and Amazing and Friends with Money are three of her noted works, independent films that are humanistic and beautiful time capsules about life. Holofcener’s latest film is Enough Said, a romantic comedy starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and the late James Gandolfini, in one of his final roles.
Here’s a description of the film:
Divorced mom Eva (Louis-Dreyfus) may be falling for Albert (Gandolfini), a sweet, funny, like-minded divorcÁ©. But as their relationship blossoms, Eva befriends Marianne (Catherine Keener), who’s always complaining about her ex-husband. When Eva realizes that Albert is the target of Marianne’s rants, she begins to question her own perceptions about first impressions and second chances.
Enough Said was a box office and critical success last fall, making numerous top ten lists and earning nominations in the SAG Awards, the Golden Globes and the Independent Spirit Awards. The Blu-ray will be released on Tuesday, January 14 and Popdose has one copy of the Blu-ray to give to one lucky reader.
What, pray tell, do you have to do to be entered into the drawing for the Enough Said Blu-ray? Simple, answer this question, one of the easiest questions we’ve ever offered for one of our contests.
Name the actress who has appeared in each of Holofcener’s films. Here’s a hint, she’s Percy Jackson’s mother.
Ahhh! That’s so frickin’ easy!
