As fans of King’s X no doubt know by now, co-founder and drummer Jerry Gaskill suffered a heart attack during the weekend of February 25th. Gaskill spent approximately three weeks in intensive care and was finally released from the hospital on March 21.

Just yesterday we saw the first video from Gaskill since his heart attack, in which he talks about his recovery and his appreciation for the outpouring of support:

The good news is that it looks like Jerry’s out of the woods. The bad news is that hospital care is not cheap, and Jerry has some big bills to pay. To that end, King’s X and Molken Music have teamed up to offer a downloadable .mp3 album of the band performing in Boston on the supporting tour for Faith Hope Love. It’s called Burning Down Boston: Live at the Channel 6.21.91 and it can be yours for a donation of $20. All proceeds from sales of the album go to Gaskill’s medical bills.

Album details and a download link can be found on the official King’s X site or on Molken Music’s site.
